Our firm is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Full-Time Office Manager/Bookkeeper

⟫ Job Title: OFFICE MANAGER/ BOOKKEEPER

⟫ Compensation: $21.00 - $30.00 DOE

⟫ Employment type: Full-Time

⟫ Hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M - F with exception to our Summer Modified Schedule based on workflow. Potential to have Friday's off during summer, fall & late spring months. Schedule changes during the months of January - April 15th. Friday's become required. Modified Summer Schedule commences after April 15th.

⟫ Potential for Overtime during the months of January & February.

⟫ Position is NOT Remote and requires an in office presence.

WAGE:

⟫ $21.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

⟫ One-Time Retention Bonus of $2000 upon completion of 12 months of employment. Based on performance and attendance.

BENEFITS:

⟫ Health Insurance Stipend up to $500.00 per month. Required to work no less than 37 hours per week to qualify.

⟫ 2 weeks of vacation a year to begin accruing upon completion of 6 months of employment. 2 weeks a year 1-3 years of employment. 3+ years 3 weeks of vacation per year.

⟫ Holiday Pay for all major holidays. To also include 2 days over Thanksgiving & Christmas.

⟫ Firm provides on site beverages & snacks.

HOURS:

Full-Time 35-40 hours a week. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday with the potential for flexibility as needed. See Summer Time Modified Schedule in the above.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to demonstrate confidentiality in accordance with firm policies at all times.

*Ability to be meet required presence in-office at office location.

*Good understanding of Accounting Principles required.

*2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience required.

*10 key proficient.

*General understanding of Payroll Laws.

*General understanding of Department of Revenue Laws.

*Experience with Excel.

*Experience with Word.

*Experience with Microsoft Office.

*Experience with QB Desktop & QBO.

*Must be professional.

*Must be able to meet attendance requirements.

*Ability to meet with clients.

*Ability to meet deadlines.

*Always willing to learn.

*Great with client interactions a must

* Must be able to work independently and efficiently

* Public Accounting Office setting experience helpful but not required.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

*Ensure Workflow Software is current and accurate.

*Assist in communication with clients as needed.

*Scheduling of new client or existing client appointments.

*Assist in document preparation.

*Answering phones.

*Payroll Preparation.

*Payroll Quarterly Reports.

*Year End W-2’s.

*Accounts Payable.

*Year End 1099’s.

*Accounts Receivable.

*Bank Reconciliations.

*Categorize Expenses & Revenue.

*Journal Entries as needed.

*Preparation of Department of Revenue Returns.

*Prepare of clean Trial Balance for end of year Tax Preparation.

*Assist clients with questions.

*Assist with on-boarding of new clients.

*Assist Principal Owner with projects as needed.

*Keeping digital record’s organized and up to date.

ADDITIONAL NON RELATED SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

⟫ No smoking on company premises and or client locations.

⟫ Must be fluent in English both speaking and written.
